Speaker Bio
Ronald (Ron) Hajjar is a Certified Public Accountant and seasoned forensic accounting professional with nearly three decades of experience in complex insurance claims and loss analysis. He is the Co‑Founder and Managing Director of RT Forensic Accountants, where his work centers on evaluating property damage, business interruption, extra expense, and builder’s risk claims for large national and global organizations.
Over the course of his career, Hajjar has developed extensive expertise in business interruption valuation, construction-related claims, fraud investigations, and cyber-related losses. His experience spans multiple industries, including energy, chemicals, manufacturing, and food and beverage, allowing him to approach claims with a broad and practical understanding of operational and financial impacts.
Before co-founding his current firm, Hajjar served as Managing Director at Aon Global Risk Consulting, where he led a national claims preparation practice and managed a multidisciplinary team handling complex matters for major clients, including Fortune 100 companies. Earlier, he spent nearly 18 years with Dempsey Partners and its predecessor firms, where he held a senior leadership role and developed his expertise in large-scale forensic accounting engagements.
Hajjar earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Babson College and is an active participant in the industry, frequently speaking at professional conferences and events focused on risk and insurance topics.
Justin Bailey is a forensic accounting professional with more than 15 years of experience specializing in complex insurance claims, loss quantification, and litigation support. He currently serves as a Director at RT Forensic Accountants, where his work focuses on claim preparation, exposure analysis, and supporting clients through high‑value and often complex dispute matters.
Over the course of his career, Bailey has developed deep expertise in business interruption and contingent business interruption losses, extra expense claims, builder’s risk and delay in start‑up issues, and cyber‑related claims. His experience spans a wide range of industries, including oil and gas, energy, manufacturing, transportation, retail, and environmental services, giving him a broad perspective on financial impacts across diverse sectors.
Before joining RT Forensic Accountants, Bailey spent more than eight years with Aon Global Risk Consulting, where he worked on claims preparation, valuation, and resolution strategies, helping clients quantify and present losses effectively. Earlier in his career, he was a senior accountant with Dempsey Partners, where he worked on large-scale property damage and business interruption claims, including matters exceeding $100 million.
Bailey holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of North Texas. In addition to his professional work, he has been active in the community, serving since 2014 as President of Greater Things, an organization that supports families through the adoption process.
